| Message | We need to cut our military spending radically. Right now, the military sucks up an astonishing 11% of our GDP! We propose to reduce it to 2.5%, which is still rather high, but reasonable. We also propose to increase the funds for Health and Social Services to a level on which the unemployment benefits, retirement pensions, child benefits, etc... can be supported. Furthermore, we should invest more in Science and Technology, Food and Agriculture and Environment and Tourism. We must also increase the funds for Internal Affairs, as not even one single police station can function with 75 million RUT, let alone the entire Rutanian police force! Right now, we're wasting a lot of money in some departments, whilst other departments haven't got enough funds to function. We believe that with this package of measures, we can get our society and economy on the right track again. |
