Message | And this, my dear members of the parliament, and especially those of our cabinet, is the real treaty of peace! - Prime Minister Aurelianus Archemid, God's Chamberlain |

Message | We can support this. There is nothing that particularly lays blame upon Hutori, and recognises that we were within our right to withdraw from the Union. After all of these years, we can finally put the Union behind us: "For many of us older parliamentarians, this day has been long-awaited. I can now die a happy man." Message | The UFD share the feelings of Ron Major. Should this treaty pass, this matter can finally be put aside. |

Message | "At present we will oppose a document we once had a lot of hope for. The first sentence seems to indicate that Telamon recognizes Hutori as a nation, which is something we are still uncomfortable with." -Cecilia Roberts MNP, Chair |

Message | Although we said that we want to act completely randomly the next four years, we'll still support this one. This is just too important. |

Message | We are dismayed at the stance of the unionists and the Sensible Parity on this issue. An abstention is as good as a no vote. They wish for this war to be prolonged, and that is bad for this country. And yet parties are talking of coalitions with them? Shame on them. |

Message | "Please stop the distortions. The MNP is abstaining on this issue until a new majority government can take charge and negotiate the issue with Telamon. The truth is that the Accords as they sound WILL NOT win a 2/3rds majority in Telamon's Congress, and the MNP does not want Hutori to appear as though it is groveling at the feet of the Telamonians begging for peace. We want a peace treaty that suits both regions and we want it quickly, but we don't want Hutori to look as though it is desperate for peace of any kind. If Telamon is not ready to pass a peace treaty, Hutori can wait. It would not be good for a future, revitalized Union if any member state came to the table with at least the appearance of subservience." -Cecilia Roberts MNP, Chair |

Message | We were unsure, but the arguments here have swayed us. Better to die on our feet than live on our knees. |
