Bill: Religious School Bill of 2408
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Party of Dorvik
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2409
Description[?]:
Recognised religions know best how to run their own schools and they can be trusted to self-regulate themselves. Religious teaching needs more room in order to maximize specific learning results and that the actual message gets through the way religious officials have planned. As religion offers comfort, compassion and safety for people and as clear majority of Kirlawans are religious, it's only natural that the government encourages teacher-led prayers in schools while taking into account the specific needs of different religions. |

Date | 06:21:52, May 24, 2007 CET | From | Socialist Party of Dorvik | To | Debating the Religious School Bill of 2408 |
Message | 1 is fair enough, as currently, all religions are de facto recognized by the Dorvish government. 2 is simply a breach on the freedom of the person and, as such, we can't allow for such a bill to pass. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
