MessageParents are not qualified (usually), and children need socialization. Public education should produce good students AND good citizens - homeschooling is bad at the first, and can't do the second, because homeschooled students lose significant time spent with their peers.

MessageBut every student has the right to choose if he/she wants to be homeschooled or not. That is not the governments decision.

MessageEconomics has taught us that government control and regulation of education is vital among other public services. We cannot abandon a tried and tested policy that is benefitting the youth of Telamon.

We fully support maintaining standardised, verifiable and scrutinised education.

We do not support this proposal.
