MessageOur laws mandate that the government provide a healthcare system for its citizens, yet current spending on healthcare by the government is at a pitiful .5% of our GDP. Increasing that amount to a still very low 1% of our GDP is the absolute minimum we can do and still meet our obligations. Anything less is equivalent to an abandonment of the Alorian citizenry by the very government that voted to implement these policies to care for them.

MessageThis increases government size, scope and expenditures. While it increases it less than the 32 billion ALOs we just trimmed down to 26 billion ALOs, this revereses budgetary progress. We oppose.

MessageThe CP voted for public health care to keep private health care prices in line, and so that if the private health care system was to fail we would have the public to fall back on, but seeing that a safety net system is on the horizon (as a compromise) we really don't need this do we? We will abstain.

MessageFCP are you serious? You piss and moan about the MLP not lowering government spending/taxes. Then, you vote for our bill. Then the PR immediately thereafter proposes to raise government expenditures by 3 billion ALOs AND YOU SUPPORT IT. Are you for government fiscal responsibility or not? This bill will lead to higher taxes or a budget in the red. How shortsighted

MessageCan't you realise a budget 'in the red' is a good thing in these circumstances if we use monetary policy correctly? Especially when we have over 1,000,000,00 ALO stored away.

MessageHow is debt a good thing?

MessageA debt of 1-2% of GDP for a country like Aloria is perfectly acceptable. We probably won't be faced with national debt for a few dozen years yet with our huge huge reserves, however. We are astounded by Alorian parties' lack of economics expertise.
