Details

Submitted by[?]: Social Conservative Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2414

Description[?]:

We seek a society, and in many ways we already do, have a society where everyone can be employed, and should be employed. But we see today how people move, are between jobs, or in other ways ends up in a position where th ey for a couple of months are without pay. perhaps the worker is laid of due to the effects of globalisation. But the point of the matter is that some people fall between the system and becomes individuals whom starves, and has no income. And this is a evil spiral, for many companies today check their applicants for jobs for their creditibility, and a unemployed worker whom has been poor sends a signal of incompetente, while in fact it is just a system error. We do not promote people being lazy, but we want to guarantee the people hte right to have time to search for the right job, to move, or to spend time with family and so forth. That is what this bill is about.

The period we are in favour of are 5 weeks.

MessageIt is not the government's job to provide for individuals when they themselves have that responsibility. Entitlements beget dependence, and dependence begets power to those who provide (AKA government).
