Message | Experimenting on animals is the only way to develop new drugs, to learn more about life and to test toxicity. As, in my opinion, animals are less worthy than men, if experimenting on animals can provide benefits for us it must be done. Removing restrictions will speed up our researchers and, possibily, attract scientists from other contries with a stricter legislation. Abused? How? (sorry for closing the debate too early, but I'm going on holiday for 4 years and I wanted to vote on my bills) |

Message | With all due respect, I'm going to have to vote no on this bill. While I agree that there should be proper experimentation on new drugs, but this must be regulated to prevent abuse. You ask how there can be abuse, well, recently there was a local news article about a group of scientists who did multiple experiments on hundreds of dogs simply to watch to see if they died or not. This, in my opinion, is abuse. The human race should not simply kill animals because they can. |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
