Bill: Establishment of a Political Hall of Fame
Details
Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2093
Description[?]:
Following this news http://www.takeforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1480&mforum=particracy We would like to build a wing to the Federal Parliament dedicated to the great politicians of Rutania who have had long and successful careers. In the wing will be a portrait, a bust and a description of what that person achieved and did during their time in political office. If this is approved then the wing will be established and finished within a year of its passing. The wing will be free for the public to enter but citizens will have to subject themselves to security checks and bag scanners to prevent terrorist attacks and damage to the wing and Parliament. The first candidates who will be immortalised in this wing will be; Steve Armstrong of the Rutania Social Democrat Party and; Iqbal "The Drunkard" McLiberty of the Libertarian Alcoholic Party For this to be established 66% approval will be needed. For it to be removed after it has passed, 66% approval will be needed for its removal. |

Message | "Im not sure if we should in a sense deify politicians." It's not like we'd be worshipping them. :-P (OOC: in RL, many Parliaments have some sort of political hall of fame.) |

Message | [OOC: Yes, but not in my nation and I think my nation has it right. Politicians are meant to be servants of the people, not rulers of them.] |
