Message | The DLUP is concerned that this would cause a flood of workers into "lower skilled" professions that would reduce overall wages and would weaken the trade unions in such industries. We would consider such a bill if it were proposed in coordination with a stricter labourers' protection bill. If there is considerable support for the Workers’ Protection Act III, then we would consider supporting the legislation. Such we will abstain for now until we get a feel for the WPAIII. |
