Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 23:59:25, June 11, 2007 CET | From | Trigunian Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Fourth Directive of the Supreme Soviet of the Trigunian Soviet Socialist Republic |
Message | This Directive is totally illogical and violates the very rights of the "workers" it serves to protect. Not only does it totally suppress freedom of thought, expression, and so forth it typical Stalinist fashion, it completely isolates Trigunia further from the rest of the world! It presents a muse of logical fallacies: An example of which is how Article 7 directly violates Article 6. Article 5 violates the Article 9 of the constitution by violating the ability of minority parties to present their views if contradictory to the KCCP. If the CPC represents the interest of the lower classes, why does it wish to silence the very voices of those it represents. Let it be known that the TLP WILL NOT let this gross violation of citizens rights pass, even if such requires armed resistance on the part of the citizens the KCCP wishes to so illegally suppress. |
Date | 10:03:01, June 13, 2007 CET | From | Communist Peasants Committee (KCCP) | To | Debating the Fourth Directive of the Supreme Soviet of the Trigunian Soviet Socialist Republic |
Message | Let it be known to the TLP that the KCCP controls all cabinet positions, and it would be unwise for any armed insurrection against the government. |

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections. |
