Bill: Phone Deregulation

Details

Submitted by[?]: HaLeumit Tikvah

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2415

Description[?]:

As we have argued before, phone regulation is unnecessary, since those companies who charge too highly will find themselves being undercut by other copanies and be forced to drop their prices anyway. So lets not waste any more money on pointless government.

MessageAside from the government having no right to tell companies what they can charge for their services, regulating phone prices is pointless since customers will naturally move to the provider which charges them least, forcing those who charge riduculous prices out of business. By removing the states needless involvement, the government has one less job to do, therefore there is less bureaucracy, and less tax money wasted.
