From | Radical Nationalist Party | To | Debating the Call for early elections, July 2414 | Message | I am sure the other parties will do aswell, there is no need at all for early elections other than to try and make sure that your aims are met. That is disgusting and it is more or less acting like a tyrant, the NP could of called early elections all the time to made sure we remained in power but we didnt because we respected democracy.
The URP have total contempt for democracy and are just taking advantage of the system, we call on all parties to boycott the URP and refuse to share government with them. |

From | The Unified Lodamun Party | To | Debating the Call for early elections, July 2414 | Message | if we continually call for early elections, that is a sign of unhappy people, and will be a stain on our reputation on the international scene. Our government must have some stability, and early elections will destroy that effort. |

From | United Republics Party | To | Debating the Call for early elections, July 2414 | Message | Actually billsare continuing to be voted on so minor parties can still elevate their exposure on these issues. If anything it allows them more opportunities to pick up seats. NP's vitriolic comments continue to have no basis in fact. It can continue to call the URP a dictator, but we're the ones who support democracy. |

From | Radical Nationalist Party | To | Debating the Call for early elections, July 2414 | Message | Well then serve your full term without the 2/3 majority you need. Also you may notice that the new parties waiting for seats have expressed no desire to lose the monarchy so your majority will be slashed and the monarchist seats will likely increase. |

From | Free Lodamun | To | Debating the Call for early elections, July 2414 | Message | This is ridiculous. Free Lodamun is trying to take the high road here, but I fear that it is quickly becoming an impossibility. Not only can we not support the republic while the URP is majority party, this is an excellent example of why.
They seek power. With every election increases thier exposure, sure, smaller parties are getting seats but at the cost of one absent party, the NP, and the moderates. Unless the people of this nation wake up, we'll have a 2/3 majority of a party that struggles to even be civil to people, let alone actually work WITH them.
For God's sake, they can't even make it a full term without calling for new elections. Is this who want want running our nation? Hell, they changed from a nuetral beige to ROYAL PURPLE. beware friends, there is a fox in our hen house. |

From | United Republics Party | To | Debating the Call for early elections, July 2414 | Message | URP has actually been investigating a color change for some time. The URP was originally the Union Party a union of opposition groups, when the URP adopted the Republic it established the United Republics Party with the dream and unifying vision of creating a United Republics of Lodamun to replace the United Kingdoms. A color change never happened. Both orange and green were considered, however URP postings in Lodamun News have always had indigo titles. So, the choice seemed obvious.
occ: plus i like purple because mace windu's lightsaber was purple. Unique. You gotta be totally kick ass to rock the purple lightsaber. <-nerd |

From | Lodamun Distributionist Party | To | Debating the Call for early elections, July 2414 | Message | OOC: I just have trouble arguing against Mace Windu in principle. I mean, you HAVE always posted in indigo, so I guess both...but I was referring to my general inability to be against Samuel L. Jackson with force powers. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
