Message | LD, we also find gated communities distasteful. However, outlawing people from putting up a wall around a piece of land that our current system says they legally own seems excessive to us. But at the very least, we should not be using the government to help the rich keep poor people off of 'their' streets and out of 'their' neighborhoods. |

Message | Why would the government set up gated communities for the *rich*? Sounds fishy to us, now that we think about it. Are you sure these government-created GC's aren't intended to lock up some minority? |

Message | Because gated communities are for keeping people out, not for locking people in. And to the best of our knowledge every gated community ever built has been for the uppermost reaches of the "middle" class and above. |

Message | Much like the Movement for Mutualism we disagree with the concept of gated communites, but anything to lessen there impact is something we will support. |
