Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Party of Dorvik
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2419
Description[?]:
Free trade guarantees business opportunities for our enterprises and investors at the foreign market and in return we get more investments on our own country, maximazing the consumer's choice and competitiveness of our businesses. We must promote free trade & achieve the best potential for it as possible: trade disagreements must be solved through negotiations instead of immediately setting trade tariffs, thus escalating the issue. |

Old value:: The nation imposes reciprocal tariffs on imports, with no tariffs imposed on states which impose no tariffs on our exports.

Proposed: The nation does not impose any tariffs or quotas on imports.

Message | We already have Free Trade agreements with other nations. These nations give us some products in exchange of us giving them some products. We won't let other nations' investors come in here and concurrence our own products when they impose tariffs on our products. So, we are willing to stay loyal to the current legislation and will vote against. |
Date | 01:30:51, June 21, 2007 CET | From | National Conservative Conference | To | Debating the Free Trade Bill of 2416 |
Message | We can see the benefit in this. However we would like to make an adjustment that should the House of Commons vote over 50% to ban this agreement with a certain nation, then it must be accepted. |
Date | 15:41:53, June 21, 2007 CET | From | Dorvish Popular Front | To | Debating the Free Trade Bill of 2416 |
Message | We oppose this bill. |
Date | 00:11:47, June 25, 2007 CET | From | Noordelijk Bevrijding Front | To | Debating the Free Trade Bill of 2416 |
Message | Free trade ensures that companies can outsource to poorer nations where they can dictate low wages. The effect of this is double: 1. The exploitation of third world labour 2. A loss of jobs in Dorvik and a decline in the manafacturing base. |
