Message | Freedom to murder the weak - that’s bloody brilliant! It only takes about 40 days for the "fetus" to have brain waves. |

Message | While I do not know whether that is true, St. Augustine and Aquinas both supported allowing abortions in the first trimester. |

Message | If you "do not know" why are you proposing to legalize it? |

Message | Becayse it is irrelevant to the issue. It is your body, and what you do with it is your choice, not the government's. |

Message | Then why can't people kill their kid outside the womb? It's their kid not the governments, thats the same damn thing. You can't defend your position with this "it's your body" crap, because it's a living human, not a gallbladder. |

Message | Can a 40-day-old fetus walk or talk or move or survive outside of someone's body? |
Date | not recorded | From | Federalist Labour Party | To | Debating the Abortion |
Message | Oh so thats what a human is - no body else counts? Can a disabled person who is unable to walk and was born with out any arms, survive on his own without someone ELSE helping him? NO! Could my pre-mature nephew have survived after birth without a "g-tube" that connected esophagus to his stomach? NO! Could you survive if you were deprived or were unable to provide yourself or simply none were available, with needs, such as food or water? NO! We all need some form of "life support"; it shouldn't be about the quality of life, it should be about LIFE. Does a person that is unable to talk, walk or survive on his own make him sub-human, even if his brain is still functioning and feeling and emotions are present? I don’t think so. The "fetus" has A FUNCTIONING BRAIN, EYES, EARS, AND A HEART BEAT! |

Message | I have yet to see anything that says a 40-day-old fetus can see, hear, or think. |
