Message | Are you crazy or maybe insane? What you are proposing is to change Rildanor into a defencless nation. |
Date | 04:14:06, June 22, 2007 CET | From | Front Canrillaise | To | Debating the Pacifisme Maintenant! |
Message | "Well we could always just import all of our needed equipment, but it's far better to have a strong industry within the country in order to strengthen the economy." - Jean-Christophe Clermont, Duc de Moisdonne |
Date | 16:15:53, June 22, 2007 CET | From | Lutte Féministe de Libération | To | Debating the Pacifisme Maintenant! |
Message | "EASL is not insane. EASL is dedicated to peace. The production of weapons and arms, and the presence of a military-industrial complex, should be a war-time feature of our economy alone, and then only during wars fought in defense of the people of Rildanor." -Adrien Durand Premier, Rildanor |
Date | 21:01:47, June 22, 2007 CET | From | Front Nationaliste Royaliste | To | Debating the Pacifisme Maintenant! |
Message | "What about the hundreds of vulnerable employees that make their living from this industry? Surely EASL would not want to abandon them to the evil oppressive employers, would they?" *tongue in cheek remarks of Chairman Rouvier* |
Date | 02:45:10, June 23, 2007 CET | From | Lutte Féministe de Libération | To | Debating the Pacifisme Maintenant! |
Message | "Chairman Rouvier, that makes no sense. We wouldn't be abandoning them to the 'oppressive employers' since the 'oppressive employers' too would no longer have a job peddling their wares of war. Transitional assistance will be provided as Rildanor's economy finally makes the shift from a partially militarized economy to one of peace. We will be better for it." -Xavier Moreau Minister of Defense, Rildanor |
Date | 12:42:07, June 24, 2007 CET | From | Alliance Démocratique Ecologiste Rildani | To | Debating the Pacifisme Maintenant! |
Message | We agree on all article but the second one, Rildanor shall conserve a defense industry. We should vote for this bill if the second article be modified to conserve old values... Rildanor shall be pacifist but not a chained goat in a wolves pen |
Date | 22:52:53, June 24, 2007 CET | From | Partie Démocratique Libéral | To | Debating the Pacifisme Maintenant! |
Message | We support many of the articles in this bill, however it is article 2 that gives us concern. We are certain that a similar bill without this article would draw more support. |
