MessageWhy are religious schools banned? We see this as persecution of religion. This is taking away the freedoms of our citizens. Other parties are happy for citizens to be completely responsible for themselves, except when it comes to religion. People can take whatever drugs they want and do whatever they want in public, but they cannot run or attend religious schools. This is an oppresive law.

MessageWe see the allowing of religious schools as persecution of knowledge and a childs development. It is not a freedom of our citizens to teach and propogate ignorance. Drugs affects, primarily the person involved. Religious schools affect, primarly, others. That is where the difference lies.

MessageThis bill goes into no detail about the regulations that will be put on the school. You will need to go into more detail for this party to vote for it.

MessageReligious schools are unnecessary. If parents want to instil religious values, they can do that at home.

MessageYes, parents can install values at home. But students are at school for 8 hours a day during their formative years. This makes teachers and schools a large influence on children's lives and views. Parent's should be able to choose a school that enforces the values that they are trying to instill at home.

We propose that the regulations placed on religious schools are exactly the same as the regulations placed on non-religious schools. The school's must teach all the content that is required to be taught at all schools. We propose that the religious values taught are not regulated.

We are not convinced that drugs affect primarily the person involved. We believe that drugs have a large effect on society, but do not want to debate this here as it really unrelated to the debate. I simply wanted to point out that most of our laws are aimed at encouraging freedom, while this law is oppressive.

Basically, we believe that parent's should have the freedom to choose the education their children recieve. The regulation is aimed at ensuring that students are not disadvantaged by recieving an inferior education. We do believe that the KPF and MCF are pursuing the end of all religion, and the current law is part of this process. We do not believe it is the place of politicians to force their religious views on others.
