Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:

Message | We certainly agree with the majority of this legislation - except for article's 2 and 4. Article 2, whilst absolutely ideal in a perfect world, may cause some serious problems in practice. As for article 4, we believe that the militairy should be allowed to assist police in very extreme circumstances. For now, we can support, but we would prefer these articles to be altered in future. |
Date | 16:52:37, June 24, 2007 CET | From | Party of Moderates | To | Debating the Military Act 2418 |
Message | Article 1 is a horrible and evil proposal. Article 2 is a horrible idea, as defense industries are an important role for government and must not be fully controlled by the private sector. Article 3 allows racism to develop, and it is unnecessary since Aldegar is a tolerant nation. Article 4 destroys the flexibility that Aldegar has when dealing with a crisis. Article 5 is something we actually support. Article 6 is opposed for the same reason as article 1. Article 7 is the only other article we support. So, all in all, we only support 2 of the 7 articles presented. Therefore, we can support none. |
