Voting deadline: June 2420

Description[?]:

Regulation and Freedom

An act to encourage public liberty.

WHEREAS, some advertising abuses the landscape and environment of Rildanor, such as billboards, etc.

WHEREAS, gated communities of all kinds represent a withdrawal from public society, and discourage public liberty.

WHEREAS, affirmative action is a credible means to ensure fair employment.

Rildanor endorses the concept of regulation for liberty on the grounds that the public should be free from excessive advertising, gated communities, and lingering historical inequity.

MessageWe can agree with articles one and two, but article 3 is just plain idiocy. Hiring quotas? Hiring should be based on ability, not race. If 99% of your work force is white, and a black candidate applies who is thick, why should they be picked over a fully capable white person. Just plain idiocy.
