Message | The down side of this is that the citizens of one nation may be placed in a position where their peers in a different region are far better cared for because that government has decided to look after its constituents, while the local government has decided to pander to all ready too powerful oligarchical private interests. We support devolution, but this is a short sighted and potential very dangerous move that could detrimentally affect thousands of our citizens. As such, we will not support it. |

Message | One of the principle purposes of devolution is to allow regional variation. How can you support one but not the other? |

Message | "Variation" when it comes at the expense of people's welfare and livelihood is not variety at all, but rather discrimination. And we do not support discrimination. |

Message | We value local democracy and devolution over some misguided sense of leftist solidarity. |

Message | That is a demonstrable false hood as your party has refused to support local democracy when it comes to people electing their own mayors. No, as usual, this is another sad attempt to pander to big business at the expense of the well being lively hood of our people. |
