MessageWe feel that there are very few significant purposes that chemical and biological weapons can provide that nuclear weapons cannot that do not involve the wholesale murder of enemy civilians. Any arms race involving biological weapons is ultimately, logically bound to create a disease that can wipe out the entire human race.

Other nations' biological weapons can be planned for and countered without resorting to the same destructive methods.

MessageDon't you think that "biological weapon" - it's only pathogenic bacteria? Biological Weapon Concept implies deep analysis of consequences of using it and antidote too. Also I think, that biological weaponry include shield, not only sword, and of course we must be ready to answer symmetricaly.

MessageResearch is allowed by this bill, biochem arms are not effective, as they are too unpredicatble, we should concentrate on systems that are effective both as a deterent and on the battle field

MessageNo, it is better to have them, and not use them at the end, then to need them and not have them.

That's not true...
"The nation shall never purchase, produce, or store biological or chemical weaponry, for military purposes. Research and development of the technology is permitted."

MessageI think we should be able to use chemical weapons in war, but not biological. Research should always be permitted for both.
