Message | Protecting the environment from destruction caused by fossil fuels has benefits far beyond merely the producers and consumers of renewable energy. We all benefit, so we all should pay. |
Date | 20:53:47, July 02, 2007 CET | From | Fair Capitalism Party | To | Debating the Environmental Protection Act |
Message | We cannot have this useless reversal of devolution. |
Date | 01:21:45, July 03, 2007 CET | From | Industrialist Party of Aloria | To | Debating the Environmental Protection Act |
Message | All it does is reverse devolution. Local government is just as good at doing this, |
Date | 04:25:42, July 03, 2007 CET | From | Party Royale | To | Debating the Environmental Protection Act |
Message | Local government is fundamentally unable to provide proper funding for research and development. Because it is a public good, the larger the scale, the more effective every dollar spent is. Having local governments responsible for supporting the development of alternative energy is wasteful and will hurt the entire country in the long run. |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
