Message | Mr Speaker, May I remind our Rt Hon Friend that we do maintain a first strike capability with our nuclear arsenal, and ask him: why would we consider using these primitive weapons instead? I yield the floor. |

Message | Mr Speaker Might I remind the Rt Hon representative from the BCD that CS Tear gas and other non-lethal agents fall under the heading 'Chemical' weapons. The term is loose and should certain have the latitude as that of Nuclear weapons. As well, Chemical Weapons can be used in a more tactical fashion then a nuclear device. I yield the floor. |

Message | Mr Speaker, The Falls Party is correct. We need clearer legislation on this. We do not support the use of mustard gas, for example, but there are other forms of chemical weapon that we could employ to good effect. Many non-lethal chemical sprays that could be used to disperse civilians, for example. |

Date | 22:36:57, July 05, 2007 CET | From | Secular Party | To | Debating the Military Protest Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, I'm sure something as docile as tear gas isn't prohibited, and it should be mentioned that this policy refers to warfare, not domestic issues. I yield the floor. |
