Bill: Disentanglement Act of 2424

Details

Submitted by[?]: Revolutionary Party of the Proletariat

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2425

Description[?]:

This Bill is introduced to strengthen the benefits that a seperate Church and State can bring, Solentians should be free to practice what religion they choose, and in turn, matters of spirituality and faith must reasonably considered deeply personal matters, and not the realm of the State to involve itself in. These measures seek to strengthen both entities, by seeing that they both become less involved in the operations of each other.

MessageOpposed. The Solentian tradition of religious unity is a strong one, and we will not sit idly by as it's traditional values are stripped away.

MessageWe oppose. The national religion of Xzarin Catholicism is accepted by most and is predominant in its values. It has been the official religion of Solentia since 2400.

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer.
