Bill: Racial and religious registration of nationals
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Meritocratic Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2426
Description[?]:
We proposed this before the last election, but seeing as the balance of power has now altered somewhat, we would like to propose it again. Currently the law states that "All nationals are required to register their race and religion." We strongly object on ideological and ethical grounds to this, and would like to see the law ammended to "The government does not require nationals to register their race or religion." We hope that our colleagues in other parties share our belief that people should be judged on their individual merits and actions; and not categorised, predjudiced against or persecuted on racial/religious grounds. |
