Message | State intervention should occur in order to guarantee free market condition where they don´t exist. What we must do is put the phisical phone network under control of one single company, diferent from phone companies, which will charge a REGULATED RATE of interconection to phone companies, which will provide services under free market conditions, because the cause of natural monopoly (the presence of high fixed costs due to requirement of expensive network) is put aside by regulating interconection service. will be much more efficient. I abstain because i don´t think phone rates are to be regulated, but i do agree with some kind of intervention |
