Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2428

Description[?]:

The selling of Food cannot be totally unregulated... Local governments should be given responsibility to see who is allowed to sell food to the populace.

What if someone sold food with diseases or the person who had it was sick and he infected the food that he is selling.

We must start to do something by voting for this bill to take the first steps of regulatating the selling of food to our citizens.

MessageThe question pertaining to food should not be "who?", but "how?". Does this bill let the local governments arbitrate who to license or does it simply give the local governments power to set regulations on food safety. I think that anyone who adheres to a set of stringent guidelines for safety should be allowed to sell food. Regardless, I think that food should be regulated primarily on a national level.

MessageWell Like is aid this is the first step I hope if this bill is passed to regulate more strictly and on a National Level The selling of food. This bill is in the mean time to give power to locale governments to deal with the issue. SO something might b done while we prepare to inact new bills...

If You want I will change the artical to give power to regulate it on a national level and maybe more strictly.

MessageYou know I have had to go thrhough each of my bills to see the worst most sarcastic arguement agaisnt what im proposing.

IF WE HAVE A CHANCE TO GET WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT SHOULDNT WE GIVE IT TO THEM???

People want local governments to ahve more power I have a BILL sitting in front of me that coud meet that demand.

What is wrong with me not helping the people when we can.

We are elected by the pople are work for the people if I ahve a chance to help the people I will.

I WONT sit around and make sarcastic remarks just to keep a political "Ally"

Its funny how the largest and 3rd Largest Parys are allied. Just so they know one or the other will always be in power.

Nice system you got going on there buddy.

MessageMy point, presented oh so bluntly, is that the government isn't there to fulfill the people's every needs - just basic protection of rights. Otherwise, we're looking at a brave new world...

MessageLogistically speaking, it makes more sense to have one governing body to determine basic food safety regulations. There's no reason to have local regulations, especially if they would hurt business.

MessageNo, all you've done is say we should do everything for the people so they don't have to think for themselves. Even if this is what the people want, it is not the kind of society we should be creating for the long-term benefit of the nation. When you've been here for (nearly) four hundred years, you'll get some perspective too.
