Bill: Appropriations Bill 2092-001 - Soundproofing of Parliamentary Chamber and New Secure Entrance
Details
Submitted by[?]: Imperial Freedom Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2094
Description[?]:
This is simply a special funding request to authorize a one-time expenditure, for the soundproofing of the Parliamentary Chamber. Apparently, the sound of loud protests outside the building carries sufficiently into the main hall to interfere with the proceedings of government business; adequate soundproofing would rectify this issue. Members of the public shall be permitted and encouraged to view parliamentary proceedings from the gallery; there shall be a clear soundproof barrier placed around the front of the gallery in addition to that installed in the walls. Microphones will be installed and played through on speakers in the gallery so spectators may hear what is being said. A private entrance shall be set aside for parliamentarians to enter and leave the building, that shall be off-limits to the public. |

Message | Yes, and we are sure that when the people of Deltaria understand the corrupt and poisonous nature of the DLP, they will not storm the Parliament building and take all the party members hostage at all... We support this bill, and encourage the same measures proposed by the PPFD and the TP. |
