Details

Submitted by[?]: Republic People Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2428

Description[?]:

We want a small coalition of three parties. We tried to be logical and fair. Five to CP, four to MLP, three to RPP. We hope that CP and MLP will approve this bill.

MessageWe are a little concerned that you put both Science & Technology and Defense between the same party. No matter how trustworthy a party may be it is still careless to let the same party be in charge of both halves of the controls of the Alorian Space Station.

MessageCP, I wanted one party (CP) should be responsible for space station project to ensure cordination. I think, most of the parties would agree with that. RPP trusts CP about the project. Moreover, I am appreciated that you have accepted the proposal.

MessageAfter much deliberation One Nation supports this Cabinet Proposal - I agree with the RPP - As much as the Constitution Party and ONP dont see eye to eye on many issues - We 100% acknowledge they are to be trusted in the Alorian Space Station Project.

MessageMLP, you know that PR said "no" to your Proportionate Cabinet Proposal, so your proposal will not pass.

MessageWe see that now. Nothing ever satisfies PR. Even a proportional cabinet proposal.

MessageThe MLP's proposed cabinet was hardly proportional. Party Royale only received one seat, while the MLP claimed 4.

MessageYeah, who won the most seats in parliament last time? That's right, the MLP and CP NOT the PR.

MessageWe're not disputing that you deserve more seats in the cabinet, but by no means did the MLP win four times as many seats as we did. Don't claim that your cabinet proposal was in any way proportional when it was clearly not.

MessageDespites our view that this system is flawed we are pleased to see the results of the cabinet.

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play".
