MessageWhy should the government be subsidizing or censoring science? Every sector except justice/court received substaintial cuts. The MLP thought the CP was in favor of less government?

MessageWell yes it is, but reducing this to 1/10 of what it was is very, very strange. We will support it, but will try to raise it to at least triple what it is now later.

MessageThese drastic cuts are irresponsible and unwise. An 83% cut in the health care budget will leave millions of Alorians without needed care or medicine and condemn thousands of them to death. A 75% cut in the education budget will force the closure of many schools and reduce the quality of education that Alorian children will receive. A 93% cut in the budget for the environment will leave us without the funding necessary to hire the inspectors that make sure companies are in compliance with our environmental regulations. A 93% cut in the Food and Agriculture budget will leave us without the funding necessary to hire food safety inspectors either, and will endanger the health of all Alorians. Party Royale urges the CP to reconsider their vote on this foolish spending bill for the sake of all Alorian citizens.
