Message | I would agree with them all, except from article 1, which we are not too sure about. Wouldn't this encourage younger people to drink, therefore could risk increasing crime rates? The crime rates in our country are very low, so should we do anything to jeopodise this? i feel that article 4 would give our agriculture a boost which is needs, as it is not performing too well at present. |

Message | Not only does article one encourage drinking by minors but article 4 promotes the consumption of food sprayed by unsafe materials. Do we want extra carcinogens and chemicals that afect fertility rates to be put in our bodies, I dont think so. Article 5 is also unsafe because it prevents the police from conducting proper investigations. Article 3 is also bad because it leaves our older generation on the street after they've done so much. |

Message | Article 1 is a problem from our perspective. While we support individual rights, this applies to adults who are capable of makinf adult decisions, not those who have reached the age of majority. Article 2 I think needs to likewise be amended for just critical industries not all private enterprise. Article 3 is not acceptable Article 4 is very good and would support development of agriculture Article 5 is very strong Article 6 may go too far...I would like to see that modified to allow government oversight for substances that are addicting or harmful |

Message | Article 1- Alowing our youth the freedom to consume alchohol would end abuse, as it would make it open to regulation instead of it being underground. ( PMP, A person at the age of 16 has nearly the same amount of problem solving capabilities as a person of 21) Article 2- Nationalizing business creates buerocracy, in turn creates corruption. Subsudizing them is a shift to the better, allowing a more free market Article 3- Why not have control over your pay? If you dont want to take it, why have it forced upon you? This is crazy Article 4- With government regulation, PPP, our farmers will not be spraying harmful chemicals, instead they will be helping the economy Article 5- Big Brother has no right to view your private property! Other means of criminal investigation woulld work besides this abuse of our rights. Article 6-who says the government has the right to tell you what you put in your bodies, no matter how harmful it may be. |

Message | We disagree with this bill. Article 1: Alcohol should be restricted to those responsible enough to drink it. Allowing teenagers to inebriate themselves would only increase delinquency among the youth of our nation. Article 2: By allowing the government to step in where corporations have failed, we ensure the quality of life for the citizens of Gaduridos remains at an acceptable level. For any profit-motivated organisation, saving the failing enterprise will require cuts to quality, and increase in price. This will only hurt the citizens. Article 3: The public pension system is our way of rewarding all citizens for a lifetime of work in Gaduridos. Private pensions rely too much on corporations which cannot be trusted with our citizens' money over such a long period of time. If citizens still wish to risk their money, the choice is there. Article 4: Our farmers are already allowed to use genetically-modified crops. These crops can be made more resistant to pests and disease. If our agriculture industry is failing, perhaps the farmers do not understand the benefits of GM crops. We should ensure they realise the advantages of using them. Pesticides will only hurt the citizens of Gaduridos. Article 5: The only people Habeas Data affects are criminals. By removing this, we would be giving criminals more rights than they deserve. Article 6: Drugs can cause destructive behaviour among our citizens, and can adversely affect their health. Allowing them to take them is endangering their lives and the citizens around them. |

Message | Big agribusiness lobbyists will compromise the regulation of pesticides and pressure government to allow harmful chemicals and pesticides to be sprayed on our food. We refuse to sacrifice life expectancy and food quality so agribusiness can save money. |
Date | 10:53:17, August 09, 2005 CET | From | National Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Free Market, Free People |
Message | We will not be pressured by these lobbyists, and will only change regulation if it will better benifit the people. |
Date | 21:36:57, August 10, 2005 CET | From | People's Progressive Party | To | Debating the Free Market, Free People |
Message | By permitting pesticides and other unhealthy substances to be used, you are showing that you've already been pressured by such lobbyists. |
