MessageLets all discriminate! Yeah, great fun having to consider what race, gender, age etc. someone is before offering them a job.

Forget it. We will move a motion requesting GA to withdraw from politics due to their illegal RACIST attitudes.

Messagewith the passage of the parliamentary free speech declaration, we move this bill to the voting stage, and request that it be discussed on its merits. There is another debate designed for vilification, linked above.

For us, the point is of course local control of local cultural affairs. This is not something likely to happen in conservative-minded Rapula, so let us use Rapula as an example. If a future state government there wished to address the marginalization of some indigenous groups by offering them preference in hiring for government jobs in order to reflect mroe accurately the diversity of the state's population, then the Greens think they should be allowed to try this, free from interference by the central government. Each state should be allowed to become a laboratory for diverse social experimentation. The course is not without risks, but it carries far greater opportunities to learn from the richness of multicultural Lodamun and apply lessons learned in one jurisdiction to others, if that proves appropriate.

MessageThe greens think that a state government should be permitted to discriminate on the basis of ethnicity? Is that what you are saying GA?
