Message | This is bigger government rewarding criminal activity. What a waste of money. We could be spending that on healthcare and education for non-criminals. |

Message | One Nation can see where the MLP is coming from - but why are we rushing into voting when we havent had proper debate - I believe that prisoners should be allowed to have some sort of education in particular juvenille offenders - a lot of the problems for prisoners is that they cant read or write - this is probably due to the MLP's and CP's Education Policy of not regulating the private education system however that is another topic. |

Message | Prisoners had a right to education. In our national public K-12 school system. They also had free healthcare. But this wasn't enough? Now they do wrong and they get free "rehabilitation". It sends a contradictory message and wastes money. |
Date | 20:50:43, July 19, 2007 CET | From | Party Royale | To | Debating the The Punishment of Criminals Accountabilty Act of 2431 |
Message | As we have stated many times before, prisoners who receive an education in prison have a far lower recidivism rate, saving money for our government overall and helping to prevent future crimes. What is so objectionable about that? |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
