Bill: UIF Bill: Separation Of Head Of State And Government

Details

Submitted by[?]: I need to make new party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2431

Description[?]:

We believe the Head Of State should be separated from head of government since together they hold to much power.

IF separated we need to change names... I'm not sure on a name I'm guessing consul.... Any suggestions?

MessageIf this passes (and I hope the Free Dems have enough sense to vote against), how are the powers of Praetor divided up (see http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=56922)? Does the HoS or the HoG inherit them?

For reference, our constitution:

Messagethe powers of the praetor carry over to the head of state, (praetor would just be known as consul). there is no constitutional contradictions as i see it

MessageI'd have power going to the HoG. This bill makes HoS merely ceremonial.

While I hate the name change, I'll support this bill. Makes politics more parliamentary and... well... european.

MessageIt seems the only people who dont like this Bill are the ones that had gained so much power from the unification of Head Of State and Government...

Either way, what's the point of separating them?

"It seems the only people who dont like this Bill are the ones that had gained so much power from the unification of Head Of State and Government..."

Oh ye of little memory.
