Bill: The Cabinet: Who Wants What?

Details

Submitted by[?]: Scientific Libertarian Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2441

Description[?]:

Only submitting this bill so we have a record of the discussion and so it gets out of my in debate bills box. Whether you vote up or down is truly irrelevant, it isn't a resolution, it's just an archive of a discussion.

Head of Government: Secularist Libertarian Party (Abdul-Sami Sa'id, 60 years old, Councilman for 31 years.)
Defense: Secularist Libertarian Party (Ali al-Jabr, son of former Supreme Governor Assad al-Jabr, grandson of former Supreme Governor and Defense Minister Omar al-Jabr, 46 years old, Governor of Bogendo for 1 year)
Science and Technology: Secularist Libertarian Party (Sharif Tawfiq, 65 years old, former Governor of Hufata for 12 years.)

Internal Affairs: United Democrats of Jakania (William McArthur-Son of Charles McArthur, who was a high ranking official in the UDJ)
Justice: United Democrats of Jakania (Zombie Jacob Kotowski)
Education and Culture: United Democrats of Jakania (Jay Kelly, Served as temporary head of party when the party departed for Hulstria)

Health and Social Services: Social Responsibility Party (Kate Fogg, 53, former chief executive of healthcare company SWWL)
Environment and Tourism: Social Responsibility Party (Ryan Attlee, 38, former PR manager for global conglomerate Cerberus)
Finance: Social Responsibility Party (Nicholas Trent, 62, operating director of ARF Bank for 20 years and councilman in Sonhata for 21 years)

Foreign Affairs: People's Populist Party (?)
Trade and Industry: People's Populist Party (?)
Infrastructure and Transport: People's Populist Party (?)
Food and Agriculture: People's Populist Party (?)

We seem to have decided to spread the seats fairly evenly, 3 per party. We are giving the PPP four (pending submission of credentials) because we are content with just the three, as one of our three is Head of Government, and because this is the first time in awhile that the PPP hasn't been the largest party. The three biggest parties are all roughly (roughly) equal in terms of seats, so the only real unfairness we can see is that the SRP gets as many Cabinet positions as parties twice its size, but we are fine with that.

MessageAww, you remembered what I want :). But with Justice, Jacob Kotowski(yes, he's still alive, HE SHALL NEVER DIE) will take the the Justice department. However, in the off-chance that Jacob Kotowski wins Supreme Governer, George O'Brian shall take Justice(Served as Minister of Food and Agriculture in Hulstria for number of years)

I would also like Infra, ever since I came to Jakania after the Islams were thrown out, I've been in charge of that spot.(William McArthur-Son of Charles McArthur, who was a high ranking official in the UDJ)

Education and Toruism- Jay Kelly(Served as temporary head of party when the party departed for Hulstria)

MessageThe SRP would be happy with:
Health and Social Services (Kate Fogg, 53, former chief executive of healthcare company SWWL)
Environment and Tourism (Ryan Attlee, 38, former PR manager for global conglomerate Cerberus)

These two are the Party's main political focus, anyway, and they're fairly low-ranking, seeing as we're 4th and all.

and possibly Finance Minister, although I'm not sure the Party has enough seats to justify such a position. (Nicholas Trent, 62, operating director of ARF Bank for 20 years and councilman in Sonhata for 21 years)

MessageI was wondering if the SRP would be ok with trading Health and Social Servies for Internal Affairs? If so, my candidate for the Health would be McArthur

MessageWe'd rather not, as we're the Social Responsibility Party, to be honest. We'd trade either of the other two posts though, or even just give them up.

MessageWe will sit back and when a chance arises, snatch a spot. At least, one of the vacant slots right now.. when that chance every comes.

Science and Technology: Hert Gannor (Age: 34): Mr. Hert was one of our main researchers before we became a party. He has been in the field since his younger years, a love for Technology and I'm sure a love for this nation.

Food and Agriculture: Furt Brenner (Age: 37): Mr. Furt grew up on a small farm in the interior of Jakania, in the province of Sonhata. We think he would make a perfect fit in this vacant position.

Infrastructure and Transport: Kent Fassein (Age: 29): Mr. Kent is more of a freshman than an old rock. Young age, vibrant ideas, we believe he would also fit perfect for this vacant spot.

Those are our decisions if the chance does come and we swipe up a few seats. Thank you again for letting us be a part of this nation.
