Bill: Economic reform

Details

Submitted by[?]: Movimiento Cívico Justicialista

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2432

Description[?]:

The lack of profit in our economy results in lack of motivation, which combined with the lack of specialization in managerial roles from workers will ultimately lead to bad quality products that will scarce. We will soon be completely surpassed by foreign production, and we will have two options: importing everything we need from abroad, or raising tariffs, making internal prices skyrocket. Either way, the ones that will lose are the very workers we are trying to protect.
This system has already been tried several times in history and, despite the romantic dreams of left-wingers, it has resulted in poverty, starvation and death. Workers councils are unable to compete with the much more efficient capitalist enterprises. Wake up and get real.

Random fact: Voters have an extra appreciation for bills that actually get passed, so if you want to maximally take profit from your votes, make sure you compromise with others.
