MessageGambling leads to crime and corruption , therefore there is no need for a progressive society to support large scale gambling.

MessageLarge scale gambling leads to tourist Py and jobs. Corruption exists everywhere and banning a legitimate buisness for the actions of a few is not the way to promote a healthy economy.

MessageOrganised gambling is theft. The odds are rigged in favour of the casinos - that's how they make a profit - and it's ordinary people who suffer. Support.

MessageOf course the odds are rigged in favor of the casinos, they are a buisness and need to make a profit. This is hard to do if the payout equals the take. But if you look at, for instance, slot machines they are set to pay out in the high 90's percentage 998-99) of the money they take in. Roulette is between 95%-97% (depending on if they have just 0 or a 00 on the wheel), we don't have the numbers for other games but they tend to sit in that range, with we believe craps being the next highest after slots.
Profit come from the numbers of people playing, and it is a form of entertainment for most, where generally the spending totals lie close to a standard vacation.
In return we receive jobs, tax dollars, and a flow of money from tourists. These do not come from small scale gambling parlors in the same numbers as they can from casinos. Few tourist go to your corner Kinko bar to play, and it does not create any new postions to add this kind of gambling to an establishment.

MessageNobody is putting a gun to their heads and making them gamble in the casino. Its a little known concept called personal responsibility.

MessageWe ask those who are voting against why they are working to take jobs away from our citizens on this spectre of organized crime? Our regulations create a process which makes these ties highly unlikely. We are closing down industries that bring money to our people, as well as encourage foreign travel to our nation, bringing foreign money. On what information are we basing this action?
