Bill: Govonors

Details

Submitted by[?]: Christians for a New World

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2442

Description[?]:

In all of the nations they have a govnorship in place weather pased or still in debate. Well i think that it is time for us to get one. I say that after each election each region's majority party will beable to choose a govonor and then we will pass a law swearing them in. All of us have a majority in some state except for the SFP this year so it will be good for us al. Also each party that comes in second will be the Lt. govoner. They will take over if anything happens to the govonor or his party. (i understand we want a more greek name for govoners but until we can decide that i will use the name govonors). for the 3rd and 4th partie we can decide something for them like... Minority leader and secretary of state. (for the future in case of more than 4 leaders they will be no place for them after 4)

MessageThe DSP does not believe in executive powers being vested in a single person, but rather in a council that must either democratically vote (in some cases) to decide to do something or (for more important things) come to a consensus.

MessageIt is not often that the CeC agrees with the ShCP, but really they have taken the words right out of our mouths.

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.

Random quote: "The communist revolution is the most radical rupture with traditional property relations; no wonder that its development involves the most radical rupture with traditional ideas." - Karl Marx
