This bill is designed to strengthen our internal and external security by expanding the use of the death penalty, encouraging the use of integration of illegal aliens already in the country, and allowing convicts to request an appeal. This bill also allows our government to pursue extradition treaties more easily. |

Message | The ISEP cannot agree for the following reasons: Article 1: The Justice ministry would be swamped. The courts are there to be used and should be until all avenues have been exhausted. Article 2: We are opposed to the death penalty in principle except for crimes against the State. Article 3: Extraditing to countries with a history of torture is not the path of enlightened Empire. Article 4: Maybe, but the manpower and cost would be prohibitive. |
