Message | The DSP has some concerns with this legislation. We think that article 1 should be reworded to insure that Sekowo remain a secular nation, as it could be interpreted to mean that Sekowo could or could not have a state relgion. We agree with the basic premise of article 2 but think that students, while in school should not be allowed to wear obtrusive religious paraphanilia, like gaudily large crosses, hajibs, or clothing that states a religious cause. Apart from that we also feel that the wearing of niqab's (the full body 'tent' popular in conservative Islam) should not be allowed in public for safety reasons, both for the individuals and the publics. We accept article 3, though we don't particulalry like doing so, but our regard to freedom trumps our distaste in this case, however we think it should be reworded to 'religious missionaries' instead of 'foreign missionaries'. We disagree with article 4's pervasive allowance, while we do agree that a religion, if it is willing to pay an advertiser to advertise it should be allowed to, we believe that it should be regulated so that it can not be promoted in or near schools or during times in the media in which young influenceable children are watching. |

Message | An edit to the previous, we said niqab when we meant burqa in regards to the full body dress, but we do mean the banning for both of these articles of clothing in public. |

Message | CeC has reviewed the objections raised about this bill, but we are not about to author a bill that falls short of providing the basic human right of freedom of belief and the freedom to practice their beliefs. We strongly urge a yes vote. A country as progressive and outstanding in every other facet of life as ours should not have an antiquated stance on religious freedom. |

Message | Antiquated? In the SCP's opinion, we are MORE progressive by banning ALL sorts of religion. If we had banned all but ONE, we would agree with you. |

Message | The DSP does not view this bill, as it is as being Progressive, it does have one things that the DSP believes in, that ebing freedom of religion, but to much of the bill is in opposition to the beliefs of the DSP to vote for it. |
