Message | Hmmm... ok lets think about the children. You can stick them in a public school where the get generic lessons because teachers are forced to teach many children that all have different degrees of intelligence and children that all learn in different ways. Not to mention public buildings are not the most relaxing, inviting places to be. Then you have homeschooling, the child is being taught specifically to their needs they'd be more comfortable and often will like learning much more, and probably learn a lot more (not as many distractions) then a child in public schools. My point: homeschooling is designed specifically for the child. Public education is not. |

Message | Public education stimulates equal chances to every child. Homeschooling is deserved to serve the chances of the children who's parents can afford it. Another question: why do you call yourself "communist"??? |

Message | So public education for the poorest children AND homeschooling for the children who's parents can afford it? Not very communistic... |

Message | The bill is not about which parents can afford what. The bill simply gives parents a choice on how their children get an education. Parents have a choice of either from the state run schools, private schools, or their own home curriculum. If a parent has the capacity and motivation to home school their own children, why should they be denied? This party would like to see a bit more liberty in education choices. |

Message | ^Basically. If I had it my way everyone would be unschooled. (Well, thats pretty much the same as voluntary education) I can't get what I want everytime so I have to comprimise with BF and II, considering they vote yes for most of the bills I wouldn't like to see past, together they're pretty much the main decision makers. |
