Bill: Foreign Aid
Details
Submitted by[?]: Peoples Movement for an Obedient Society
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2440
Description[?]:
The amount of money spent of foreign aid is climbing. This money can be better spent on out own infrastructure and industry. While disaster relief should be considered for some countries where the damage cannot be sensibly dealt with by that country alone these continued handouts should cease immediately to countries and regions where our money is not being put to good use. We must also ensure any foreign aid we do provide is being put to good use and is not squandered. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Government policy towards giving aid to foreign countries.
Old value:: The government gives moderate aid to countries in need.
Current: The government never offers international aid.
Proposed: The government only gives aid for disaster relief in foreign countries.

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
