Bill: Illegal Aliens in Malivia
Details
Submitted by[?]: Peoples Movement for an Obedient Society
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2440
Description[?]:
This Bill is to alter the current non action against illegal aliens entering our country. Considering the tolerance for new comers to our great country it is our belief that it is wholly unnecesary for anyone will to live here in peace and tranquility to need to sneak in here and not make themselves known to us. Such blatant carelessness on our part is leaving the door open for terrorist elements to work from within our country unchallenged. This is a grave security risk and one we can correct without offending anyone. We should be proactive in finding illegal aliens, finding out why they have not registered themselves through the proper channels, and if they are good potential citizens of Malivia we can then introduce them to our beloved country the right way. This Bill is not about kicking out those who have made a mistake. |

Message | We cannot, no matter how hard we try, even think about supporting this bill. The government does not have the time, money or resources to actively search houses for illegal aliens that may or may not exist. This is just ridiculous and will make other nations look down upon us. |

Message | Several changes to other legislature will help in this: For example my current bill proposal to pass laws where carrying id cards is mandatory. A national ad campaign asking these people to come forward can perhaps aid in the more honest people living with guilt. If the police cannot deal with this we can turn to the Military, another Bill being proposed right now, I do not think the military would be needed for this however, but the option is there. Other nations oinions should be secondary in making Malivia a safe secure place to live, they may look down on us for it, but they will thank us when we can assure the world no terrorists lurk within our borders. |

Message | Secure, yet we are infringing on the security of all of our citizens simply by raiding their homes to search for illegal "aliens" who may not even be in their homes. If this is passed then we better make very sure that this is not taken out of prospective and that the rights of the people are protected. |

Message | Man, the best underground snowboarder in the country, Rico Jones-Poltavski (not his actual name) is an illegal alien! We can't sell out our friend! |

Message | A celebrity such as him would definitely not be required to leave Malivia, just fill out the appropriate paperwork and become an official resident. He will benefit from this, well maybe not in taxes, but through other services our fine country offers. |
