Bill: Consideration of the Multipartate Pact

Details

Submitted by[?]: Imperial Pluralism Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2441

Description[?]:

A new and interesting military alliance has come to my attention. It seems to offer a replacement for the now defunct Axis agreement. If we were to join such a military alliance, there would be no one in Terra or Dovani to oppose us. The Colonization of the East would be ours entirely.

In addition, our nation's security would be sealed. No one would dare harm us if they consider that the Multipartate pact is to be the only functional organized military organization in Terra.

Voting "yes" on this bill will open the way for active negotiations concerning Sekowo and membership in this alliance. As foreign minister, our party promises to address all of the interested parties' concerns.

MessageThe DSP is against associating with imperialists, and supports sovereign nations being able to be sovereign if they so wish, or join unions if they wish.

Joining this alliance would also disrupt negotiations with Lourenne and the DSP's future plans to form a continental trade and security alliance.

MessageActually, if I understand right, this kind of vote is base don how many people vote yes or no, that is if only two people vote for it, and the other 4-5 vote no, than it does'nt pass, of course I may be getting it backwards, but anyway that's how I understand it.

MessageNo, I'm just trying to gauge how many people support. I can't pass a treaty on my own, especially after the coming elections.

I'm interested in the continental trade and security alliance though. That could be a much better homegrown alternative.
