| Our constitution is fairly outdated and was created in a much simpler time. Our forefathers adopted a common animal to become our nation's mascot, for reasons that are not entirely clear now. The gray beaver, the inexplicable creature of our nation, is a pest that is harmful to farmers and fishermen. Due to its violent nature toward children, many local governments outlaw keeping it as a pet and promote the general trapping and killing of gray beavers. The youth generation of this nation and many others often jeer and laugh at many Worldwide Sporting Events, because our mascot is a symbol of unintentional hilarity. Unfortunately a gray beaver has fallen into use as a slang term, which refers to "an aging vagina." While it certainly wasn't the intention at the time, our current mascot is outdated and a detriment to the respectability of our nation. We propose that the cyborg rocket squirrel become the new mascot due to its current popularity as a pet and companion. |
