Bill: Prostitution Legalization Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Deus Ex Machina Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2441
Description[?]:
Because prostitution is legalized irregularly and enforced haphazardly, we feel that the federal government should regulate this industry. Arguments for Legalized Prostitution- 1. As a former illegal/illicit activity, criminals were receiving money that could have been taxed. 2. It will happen whether we outlaw it or not. 3. As a very permissive country we have to allow the oldest profession in the world to exist. 4. It poses little health risk if we also subsidize the availability of contraceptives and sex ed. |
