Bill: Scientific Freedom Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Maroon Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2095
Description[?]:
While we appreciate the concern for animal well-being, we have to realize that it is ridiculous to require every animal study to have a permit (what about the junior high school biology class that wants to observe how rabbits respond to different kinds of music or light or something of that nature?) We need to take a moderate position, that upholds animal well-being while at the same time allowing the sciences to flourish. |
