Bill: Wide-Range Cabinet Proposal

Details

Submitted by[?]: Movimiento Cívico Justicialista

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2442

Description[?]:

This is another attempt at a wide-range cabinet proposal. Lets try to vote this one so we can get rid of the old cabinet of inactive parties that we have right now, and put up a wide-ranging cabinet that can later be reformed.

Center-Right: 1 (Capitalista 1).

Center: 2 (Alternativa de Centro 2)

MessageThe problem is that Verde has shown that he wont accept a wide-ranging cabinet. So, if there were positions for him, he would block the entire cabinet by voting no. (A cabinet wont pass if one of the ministries votes no or abstains, despite who has a majority).

MessageHe's not the only one though, FND and PLS tend not to seem keen either (http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=132489).

We really do need to get this sorted though, we can't just sit around with half the cabinet not present.

MessagePLS wanted Defense, so I gave him Defense
As for FND, I think he voted "no" on the toher one because more ministries were given to the left than to the right. This one is balanced.

MessageYeah, as to the PLS' sudden desperation to hold the Defence Ministry, I must confess that I'm somewhat worried. Is the PLS willing and capable of explaining why they require this?

MessageFirst of all, the number of positions given to TyL seems slightly disproportionate. Second of all, with all the threat of war raging around, it seems sensible to leave the position to who has been holding it. No point in changing that position as it could damage our ability to defend ourselves if we should need to do so.
