Message | We have introduced this Bill because the situation as it is gives the government the right to, essentially, do as they wish with deceased citizens. The New Conservative Party considers this situation deplorable, and we seek to ensure that the people of Malivia have the right to decide what is done to, or with, them, even after their death. |
Date | 12:25:08, August 12, 2007 CET | From | Peoples Movement for an Obedient Society | To | Debating the Organ Donation Bill 2441 |
Message | Consent is assumed upon the death of said citizen. This does not mean we simply abduct dead bodies. The process for not taking part in Organ Donation is readily available to everyone, without prejudice. We, the PMOS, believe the law as it stands best serves the public interest at this time. We think it would be even more deplorable if we had to tell someone waiting for a transplant that we could have helped them if we hadnt left perfectly good organs buried in the ground. |
Date | 15:30:43, August 12, 2007 CET | From | Militarist Party | To | Debating the Organ Donation Bill 2441 |
Message | The Militarist Party agreees with and supports the PMOS on this matter. |
Date | 21:23:48, August 12, 2007 CET | From | St. George's Xtreme Coalition Party | To | Debating the Organ Donation Bill 2441 |
Message | Reposting our argument from the last time this bill was proposed: Many of our staunchest supporters require organ transplants after certain, shall we say "accidents", whether an intersection with a tree, or the explosion of a dragon mockup. We believe a person's body is their own, yes, but only until death. |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
