Bill: Government Reduction Act III: Space

Voting deadline: March 2095
Description[?]:
We should allow our people to take advantage of all the opportunities presented by space, instead of monopolizing it. There are better things we can do with our money--on Earth. Leave space to the adventurers. As long as these adventurers are abiding by our laws, we see no reason they should not be allowed to adventure. |

Message | I will never agree to this, When space 'exploration' becomes private it is simply about profit not the furtherment of science and research into our origins. The need to explore is human nature and privitisation can compromise our knowledge of the universe and ultimatley the quest for profit will lead to disasters in space, the monopilisation of space by private companies must be stopped. Message | If the need to explore is human nature, then people will use their own money to do it, and government funding isn't needed. |
Date | 17:12:28, August 12, 2005 CET | From | Maroon Party | To | Debating the Government Reduction Act III: Space |
Message | The point of a government is to make people do things contrary to base human nature, but are good ideas, like not raping and killing people you disagree with. If something is already "human nature", then people will do it anyway, so forcing them to causes an overallocation of resources. |
